Vegan Scouts is a volunteer-run scouting program for vegan children in the Portland metro area, founded in 2023 by Amanda Hymansmith. Troops run activity tracks through the year, and membership is on a sliding scale so families pay what they can. It is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and is supported by Northwest VEG.
