Vegan Earth Day March

Organized by the San Francisco Vegan Society, this free annual march assembles at Powell and Geary streets in Union Square before proceeding to City Hall, where speakers address the environmental impact of animal agriculture and the case for plant-based food systems. The event calls on governments to adopt the Plant-Based Treaty as a meaningful response to the climate crisis. It is a fully vegan, advocacy-centered gathering open to all.
