Stichting Zwerfkatten Nederland

Stichting Zwerfkatten Nederland is a Dutch foundation, set up in April 2018 and based in the Hoeksche Waard in South Holland, that works to reduce the number of stray cats in the Netherlands. Its teams travel the country trapping cats, neutering them — often in Katopia, the foundation's mobile operating theatre — returning or relocating them, and monitoring the colonies afterwards. Kittens found during this work are raised by a network of foster homes, socialised and rehomed as house cats. The foundation also trains and advises other stray-cat organisations, publishes a free handbook, and lobbies national, provincial and local government on stray-cat policy.
