Peace of Eden

Peace of Eden is a fully vegan eco-lodge and animal sanctuary on the outskirts of Knysna in South Africa's famous Garden Route. The property rescues and rehabilitates farm animals — pigs, goats, chickens, and more — who roam freely alongside guests. All meals are 100% plant-based, prepared with produce from the lodge's own permaculture garden. The forest setting offers walking trails to the Knysna Lagoon and surrounding indigenous forest, home to the last wild Knysna elephants.
