An international academic conference hosted by the Helsinki Animal Law Centre at the University of Helsinki. The 2026 edition — "Reimagining Justice Across Species" — examines the intersection of human, animal, and environmental justice, including Rights of Nature, multispecies justice, animal law and the climate crisis, and innovative advocacy approaches. The Tom Regan Memorial Lecture and a PhD Workshop take place on June 8 at Helsinki Central Library Oodi; the main two-day conference runs June 9–10 at the University Language Centre. Keynotes by Anne Peters (Max Planck Institute) and Jeff Sebo (NYU).

Tipp: The Tom Regan Memorial Lecture on June 8 is free and open to the public — a good entry point if the full conference fee is out of reach.
