Chile Plant Based Congreso | Expo 2026

Organized by the Asociación Gremial Chile en Base a Plantas (ACBP), Chile's first plant-based trade association, this one-day Congreso-Expo ran from 12:30 to 20:00 at Hotel Plaza San Francisco. The morning block (09:00–12:00) was a closed congress for members, entrepreneurs, and sector stakeholders. The public expo featured 23 stands from plant-based brands and organizations, 15 presentations including talks, workshops, and panel discussions, tastings, raffles, and the Plant-Based Awards ceremony recognizing the best specialty store, best gastronomic proposal, and honorable mentions for establishments adding plant-based options. The first 100 registered attendees received a free vegan completo courtesy of Vegusta. Veganuary participated as an official collaborator. Santiago ranked second in Latin America in vegan dining growth, with a 44% increase in options since 2023.
