Abril Vegano is the Sociedade Vegetariana Brasileira's annual nationwide campaign inviting people across Brazil to explore 100% plant-based living for the entire month of April. The 2026 edition brought 22 activities spanning in-person events, community picnics (Vegnic Nacional), activism actions, sports, and wellness workshops simultaneously across 19 or more cities in every region of the country. From street banner actions on April 1st to planting workshops and football matches, the campaign connects ethical, environmental, and health dimensions of veganism through grassroots community building.
