How do I get my event listed?
Add it at veganfests.com/claim. It takes a few minutes and it's free. Every listing is reviewed before it goes live.
Is it really free?
Yes. Listing your event, updating it, adding photos — all free.
Why isn't my event listed yet?
Usually one of two reasons: we haven't found it, or there's one detail we couldn't confirm on our own — most often the venue's kitchen setup, the bar, or a date. Email us and we'll tell you exactly what's open; an answer from you as the organizer usually settles it same-day.
My event is vegan, but the venue isn't. Can it still be listed?
Often, yes. What matters is the service itself: if the kitchen is cooking only your vegan menu that day (a private event, a hired hall, a buyout), that's listable. If the venue is serving its regular non-vegan menu alongside your event from the same kitchen, we'd need the venue to use dedicated equipment.
We're vegetarian / plant-based with great vegan options. Can we list?
Not as an event listing — the directory is only for events that are 100% vegan, top to bottom. That line is the whole point of the site. (Animal-advocacy organisations are a separate section with their own rules.)
What does "100% vegan" actually mean here?
Everything served, sold, sampled, given away, or promoted at the event is vegan — including the drinks (vegan-fined wine and beer) and every stall. The full picture is on our standard page.
My event is small — a potluck, a meetup, twelve people. Does it belong here?
Absolutely. We list every format and size. The only bar is 100% vegan.
How do I update my listing, or add photos and video?
Use the update link on your event's page — dates, photos, video, hours, anything. Updates are reviewed and applied by a person.
A date or detail on my listing is wrong.
Tell us and we'll fix it — usually the same day. We'd always rather hear from the organizer than guess.
Do you sell tickets or take a cut?
No. We link people straight to your own ticketing. Listing is free and your ticket sales are yours.
I think an event you list isn't actually fully vegan.
Tell us — seriously. We check every report against our standard, and if the event breaches it, the listing comes down.
Where do the events come from?
We find them ourselves — organizer sites, community calendars, word of mouth — and organizers submit their own. Either way, nothing goes live unreviewed.
