Earthy Roots makes instant protein bowls — lentil tikka masala, black bean chili, green curry bean and more — founded by three women and sold at Walnut Creek and Orinda farmers' markets. Described in their own words as "oil-free, vegan, and naturally gluten-free", with coconut milk powder and coconut sugar in place of dairy and refined cane.
