Now in its ninth edition, Nishinomiya Vegan Fest fills Rokutanji Park — steps from Hanshin Nishinomiya Station — with 40-plus vendors serving carbon-neutral, entirely plant-based food and sweets from across Japan. Organized by the Japan Vegan Association, the day pairs vibrant market stalls with lectures, wildlife coexistence talks, zero-waste workshops, and children's storytelling sessions. Free admission makes it one of the most accessible all-ages vegan events in the Kansai region.

Tip: Arrive early — the first 100 attendees receive complimentary vegan emergency rations, and the first 50 children under 12 get free enzyme brown rice balls. The park is a 1-minute walk from Hanshin Nishinomiya Station (Shiyakusho Exit).
