Held annually around Día de la Candelaria, the Feria del Tamal Vegano brings together dozens of vendors serving plant-based tamales with fillings like mushroom mole, squash blossom, and poblano with vegan cheese, all washed down with warm atole. The event is fully plant-based, pet-friendly, and free to enter, set at the Explanada del Monumento a la Madre in Mexico City. It runs as part of the long-running Bazar Vegano y Artesanal, which also features artisan craft and lifestyle vendors.
Tip: Arrive early — the most popular tamal vendors sell out by early afternoon. Bring your own bag and keep dogs leashed.
