Black VegFest is an annual free outdoor festival at Lincoln Terrace Park in Brooklyn that centers Black and BIPOC vegan culture through food vendors, wellness workshops, live performances, and community programming. Running since 2018, the festival ties plant-based eating to broader themes of community health and social justice, and its programme spans guest speakers, panels, workshops and a staged play. For 2026 it co-programmes with Vegan SoulFest, Black Veg Society and Afro-Vegan Society as part of a BIPOC festival coalition.
Tip: Arrive early — the 40+ vendor booths draw large crowds by early afternoon. The event runs 12–7 PM and is entirely free.
