Rancho La Puerta

Founded in 1940, Rancho La Puerta is one of the original destination wellness resorts. Set on 3,000 acres at the foot of sacred Mount Kuchumaa, the resort's 6-acre organic farm supplies most of the plant-forward kitchen. Weekly programs include fitness classes, cooking schools, meditation, art, and hiking. Vegan and vegetarian menus are standard; animal products are a secondary option rather than the default.
